The more we censor
What we say
The less in tune
With our thoughts we become.
If we can consciously
Tape our own mouths
How is it
We can trust ourselves?
No longer will we think openly
If we have shunned our minds.
Caged our consciousness
To knock at the walls evermore.
Neither seen nor heard.
Like a child deemed
Too difficult to raise
So chose to ignore.
